The advice given by our centre is available to everyone. It is free of charge, confidential and without obligation.

The Gambian-German Advisory Centre for Jobs, Training and Reintegration (GGAC) welcomes you. You can get information and individual advice on the following topics:

Psychosocial support - the most important questions and answers

Returning from abroad is not always easy. In order to settle back in The Gambia in the best possible way, the Gambian-German Advisory Centre for Jobs, Training and Reintegration (GGAC) offers psychosocial support together with the Gambia Red Cross Society. The offer applies to returnees as well as to the local population.

More than 1,000 participants benefited from these opportunities.

A future career for young people

Together with the GTTI, the GGAC is offering young people in Gambia a 9-month training course, which is intended to improve their career prospects. It prepares them for jobs in the welding industry, construction and the solar technology sector.

The goal: entrepreneurial thinking

The 13 proud Gambians are presented with their certificates: They have learned a lot during their one-week training on the basics of business and finances. The mood in the small room scattered with tables, posters and working materials is vibrant – thanks to their newly acquired knowledge, the participants, including returnees from Germany, are keen to start planning their career as a self-employed business owners.
