On 29 October, the Tunisian-German Centre for Migration and Development (CMD) organised the fifth edition of Forsa-Street in Tunis, an event that brought together young Tunisians to explore career opportunities in Tunisia and abroad.
The event attracted more than 1,000 young people from all over the country, 40% of whom were women, eager to explore the prospects that could shape their professional future, both locally and internationally. The Cité de la Culture site in Tunis was transformed into a dynamic centre that opened up prospects for successful careers and regular migration.
One of the standout features of the event was a sprawling 15 x 10-meter labyrinth of 40 interactive panels that took participants on a journey through the diverse world of education, employment, and entrepreneurship. Guided by expert advisors, they navigated pathways that introduced them to different career options.
Opportunities abroad
In response to the growing interest in international careers and regular migration among Tunisians, an entire pavilion was dedicated to training and employment opportunities in Germany. In collaboration with partners such as the DAAD, the Goethe-Institut, and AHK Algérie Pro Recognition, the Tunisian-German Centre hosted workshops that provided insights into career opportunities abroad.
Renowned organisations and programmes, including UNICEF, IOM, and ERASMUS+, held sessions covering topics ranging from migration options to scholarships and volunteer opportunities.
Forsa-Street continues to provide a vital platform for Tunisia’s young generation, empowering them to make informed decisions about their professional journeys.
