My name is Muhammad. I live in Wazirabad and went to Germany for work. In Punjabi, there is a saying that one should work abroad in order to provide sustenance for the home. However, living overseas is very hard. When my children would be unwell in Pakistan, I would be apprehensive, sitting abroad and wondering whether anyone would get medicine for them or not. My children and my wife kept asking me to come home.

Support for my business idea
When I returned after several years in Germany, I was extremely worried about what I would do in Pakistan to support my family. I began working as a mason's helper but always wanted to start my own business. Then one of my friends told me about the Pakistani-German Facilitation & Reintegration Centre (PGFRC), where I was provided with business development training, during which I developed my Loader Rikshaw business plan.
Back with my family
I made my business proposal for a loader rikshaw because I live in Wazirabad. There are many work opportunities in the local market if you have a loader rikshaw. PGFRC told me that they can support my business plan by getting me a loader rikshaw. In my entire life, I would never have been able to afford buying my own loader rikshaw. After getting the rikshaw, I thanked Allah a million times over that my work was progressing. I am with my wife and children now; they are happy and their needs are being fulfilled. Nothing is foreign; it’s my country, my home, my family. I thank Allah a million times over that I have a stable income. One of my dreams has been fulfilled after receiving this rikshaw, and Insha’Allah, through this my other dreams will also come true.
